I'm fundraising to support the American Cancer Societies Global Cancer Control work
I am excited to attend the Giving of Tomorrow event hosted by Funraisin, Virbela and American Cancer Society. We are going to be exploring what has changed in charity events and what we see coming down the line.
We are also raising funds to support the American Cancer Societies Global Cancer Control work
They are leveraging more than 100 years of experience working in the U.S. to make a difference in lower-income countries.
Their global cancer control initiatives include:
- Cancer prevention
- Cancer treatment
- Cancer patient support
- Capacity development
Despite having lower incidence rates of cancer the developing world is shouldering similar mortality rates to the richer countries. By implementing tried and tested US strategies ACS is having amazing impact in the locations that it can reach.
