Event FAQs
What is the Future of Giving Event?
The Future of Giving is a discussion around how the sector is changing and evolving. By integrating innovative platforms we can push the limits and find new paths to connection and integral new experiences. The event is also aa virtual fundraiser brought together by American Cancer Society, Funraisin, and Virbela.
Fundraising methods are undergoing a digital transformation! By broadening our reach to amplify the voice of change, virtual solutions are shifting the way we engage supporters and encourage donations.

All proceeds will benefit American Cancer Society’s Global Cancer Control program.

The American Cancer Society is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. Our Global Headquarters are located in Atlanta, Georgia, and we have regional and local offices throughout the country to ensure we have a presence in every community.
What is Global Cancer Control?
The American Cancer Society's global program aims to eliminate cancer as a major health problem worldwide through programs that support local cancer organizations, hospitals and government ministries in their efforts to increase awareness about cancer prevention, international cancer advocacy and tobacco control.
Our global work is focused on lower-income countries, where we work across the full cancer continuum, predominantly in national referral hospitals, often the only facilities where cancer is currently addressed. We seek measurable results in countries where Ministries of Health, hospitals and civil society partners can make the most significant impact.
Why do we work outside US boarders?
